High blood sugars cause various problems in the human body. It may cause diabetes specialy in those people who have the family history of this disease. High blood sugar can cause severe symptoms like blurry vision, excess thirst, fatigue, frequent urination, hunger, weight loss. A person who have been recently diagnosed with diabetes may panic so if a person is in stress full condition a hormone is released which may increase your blood sugar so to lower your blood sugar use a cup of chamomile tea and take deep breath.
Food used for decreasing blood sugar:
Blueberry, Avocados, Chia seeds, olive oil, cherries etc is helpful. Drink plenty of water as soda and juices raise blood sugar quickly. Drink 6 – 8 glasses of water a day. Many commercially available waters are flavored, which is better than plain water, you can add strawberries, lemon or lime slices or an orange juice to your diet. Place water in the refrigerator with lemon slices added to it. Then discard the slices and add new ones every two days and drink it. Other citrus fruits may also be added or strawberries, apples or berries. Be careful to take fruit juices because they contain carbohydrate so should be taken in small quantity. 2 table spoon of vinegar before meal is very use full. It can also be used in salads. Eat 2 table spoon of peanut butter alone or use it with apple slice. Sprinkle 2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder in yogurt and eat it. One glass of red wine will help in lowering the blood sugar but not more than one glass. One cup green tea help in lowering bold sugar, regular black tea is also help full and green tea supplements may also be used. Drinking a cup of coffee will lower your blood sugar. Eat more fibrous foods most vegetables are high in fiber specially leafy greens. Protein rich diet such as fish, beens and chicken are recommended. Eat more oatmeal. Unsweetened oatmeal digests slowly, which prevents your blood sugar from increasing while providing your body with the slow-release energy it needs. Eliminate carbohydrate foods from your diet such as bread, cereals, rice, beans, potato etc
Exercise:
Lower your blood sugar by doing different exercises such as jogging, riding a stationary bicycle, swing your arms in circulating movement, walk indoor or outdoor, take a dance class, yoga, play tennis, take aerobics, do housework’s etc. Exercise will also be helpful in reducing weight.
Stress:
Keep yourself from stress full situations which may increase your blood sugar level listen music to keep yourself calm, have full night of sleep to keep yourself relax.
Diabetic supplement:
Take once or twice a day. The main ingredients of this supplement are chromium. Other diabetic supplements used are Garlic, Coenzyme Q10, Ginsing, Vanadium, Prickly pear cactus, Gurmar, Aloe Vera, Bitter Melon.
